Description   Bullripper.com heavy duty utility Chevy/GMC 6L80 or 6L90 electronic overdrive transmission and torque converter built by Transmission Exchange Co for 2006-2019 applications. This transmission was used in many GM car and truck applications including Chevrolet and GMC Silverado/Sierra with 5.3L and 6.0L engines. It is called a 6L80 when it is in 1/2 ton 4.3L and 5.3L applications and 6L90 when it is in 3/4 ton and up 6.0L applications. It can be built for 2WD or 4x4 application and comes with a heavy duty 'RV" style torque converter (street stall performance converter also available on request). It will also have a new pre-programmed TEHCM installed (please supply your VIN so that we can match the software). You can ID your transmission by matching the pan formation in the photo, by checking the transmission ID Chart or email us with your specific application. This transmission comes with the standard 18 month unlimited mileage warranty and has the option to double that to the 3 year extended warranty (see extended warranty category - extended warranty not available for diesel applications). Of course, all of our BullRipper HD Automatic transmissions are fully remanufactured and dynomometer tested before leaving our facility, so you know it will work the first time. There is a $700 core deposit included in the price. This is refundable upon return of your old transmission and torque converter. Please inquire for estimated return freight on core. It is also a good idea to clean or replace the cooling system when replacing your automatic transmission, so check out the protection kits at the upgrades tab.
