Bullripper.com heavy duty utility Chevy/GMC TH400 transmission and torque converter (also comes with a high capacity auxilary cooler kit) built by Transmission Exchange Co for 1964-1990 applications. This transmission was used in many GM applications including Chevrolet, GMC, Cadillac, Buick, Oldsmobile, and Pontiac. It is also known as a 3L80, Turbo 400, or Turbo Hydramatic 400. This extreme duty transmission is built with straight cut gears as well, making it technically a TH475 transmission. The TOW MATRIX Extreme Duty Transmission is for Chevrolet and GMC TH400 and TH475 transmissions engaged in Towing, Engine Braking, Ambulance, Motor Home, Snow Plow and other extreme applications. The TRANSMISSION EXCHANGE CO. Tow Matrix Package includes Alto Red Eagle Clutches, Heavy Duty sprag, Heavy Duty band, TransGo Reprogramming, straight cut front and rear planetary assemblies, Allison type re-enforced torque converter, Protection Kit with extra high capacity cooler, and more. This is the ultimate TH400/TH475! It can be built either for 2WD or 4x4 application. You can ID your transmission by matching the pan formation in the photo, by checking the transmission ID Chart or email us with your specific application. The TH400 was also used in some Jeep applications, so you can check the Jeep category for ordering details on that configuration. This transmission comes with the standard 18 month unlimited mileage warranty and has the option to double that to the 3 year extended warranty (see extended warranty category - extended warranty not available for motorhome, industrial, or diesel applications). Of course, all of our BullRipper HD Automatic transmissions are fully remanufactured and dynomometer tested before leaving our facility, so you know it will work the first time. There is a $450 core deposit included in the price. This is refundable upon return of your old transmission and torque converter. Please inquire for estimated return freight on core.
